The National Institute of Telecommunications, Optical Communications division in Warsaw, Poland, together with the Institute of Photonics and Electronics, Czech Academy of Sciences, and the IEEE Photonics Society Poland Chapter are pleased to announce the 26th International Conference on Transparent Optical Networks ICTON 2026 in Prague, Czech Republic, July 12-16, 2026. Technical co-sponsorship by the IEEE Photonics Society is foreseen.
Being the capital of Czech Republic, Prague is filled with historical sites and cultural events. Prague is one of the most attractive cities in Europe, with a number of interesting sites to visit. Prague is easily reachable by plane, Václav Havel Airport Prague is just around the corner!
ICTON 2026 will be held as an in-person-only meeting.
The scope of the Conference and co-located events is focused on the applications of transparent and all-optical technologies in telecommunications, computing, sensing, imaging, and quantum applications. Conference topics include but are not limited to:
